Matchbox art

I love making creative, handmade gifts,and this is one I made for my boyfriend. I made the boxes matchbox size and decorated them. I love how they turned out.

I made these little origami birds from 3cm square pieces of paper.Very delicate folds but fun to make.

Watercolour love

I've been loving doing watercolour paintings lately. Here's one I painted of me and my boyfriend. I used masking fluid around the edges and sprayed the paper with water, then applied the paint and let the 2 colours spread and merge. The painting represents how I have his heart and he has mine.

Local inspiration

It's not very often that I see 'out of the box' designs in my city, so when I saw this I may have gotten just a little excited. I wish I'd kicked that darn cigarette of the poster but I was in a hurry and didn't see it. Oh well. I just love how this poster appears to be bleeding onto the footpath. It's so different to a normal movie poster.
